What is the future of office space?

CBRE has released a follow up survey of commercial office property executives to its initial survey in April. The results are equally interesting:

• 70% of respondents indicated that some portion of their workforce will be allowed to work remotely full-time, 61% of respondents said that all employees would be allowed to work outside the office at least part-time.

• 41% of respondents said the importance of the physical office will decrease only slightly and 38% said it will remain the same.

• Fewer than 10% of companies are considering leaving high-density urban core office space.
