Shire of Derby-West Kimberley receives one of the largest NSRF grants in 3rd round of funding.

In the Federal Government's 3rd round of National Stronger Regions Fund (NSRF), the Shire of Derby-West Kimberley received one of the largest grants in the country. The NSRF granted $5.1 million for the redevelopment of the Derby Airport. The project will see the Derby Airport upgraded in order to accommodate regular passenger traffic (RPT) flights as well as increased infrastructure to support the local tourism industry.

Lucid Economics provided an economic impact assessment and cost-benefit analysis as part of the NSRF application.
